Foxhill Manor Nursing Home is registered with the Care Quality Commission in accordance with the Health andSocial Care Act 2008 providing specialist nursing care for elderly people with dementia and other related mental disorder within a person centred and holisitic approach. We accpet both male and female service users for long term and short term care from Northamptonshire and surrounding districts.

Aims:

• To provide individual person centred care programmes based on identified health care needs within a safe environment promoting equality and diverstiy principles with due consideration around gender, race, ethnicity, disability, religion, sexuality, class and age.
• To maintain high standards of care and practice using a holistic approach.
• To involve residents and carers/ relatives/ Advocate in the care programme.
• To encourage and promote independence, maintain dignity, privacy and self esteem.
• To provide personal care within a structured environment where individual rights and liberties are safeguarded.
• Provide opportunities for service users/ representatives to influence the service quality standards, plans and priorities.

PRIVACY: The right of a Service User to maintain personal privacy whenever they wish taking into account any risks indentified and capacity.

DIGNITY- The understanding of Service Users needs and treating them with respect.

INDEPENDENCE - Allowing a Service User to take calculated risks, encourage and support users to make their own decisions and act for themselves whenever possible.

CHOICE - Giving a Service User the opportunity to select for themselves from a range of alternative options.

RIGHTS - Safeguard all basic human rights and liberites available to the Service Users.

FULFILMENT - Enabling the Service User to realise their own aims and helping them to achieve these goals in all aspects of daily living.

CONFIDENTIALITY - Ensure confidentiality of information of service users and restrict access to identified persons with consent.
