Residents Charter

This Charter is a public statement of values regarded as key features of the relationship between Foxhill Manor Nursing Home and the people for whom it provides a service.

All Residents have the right to:

Be treated with care, consideration, respect, dignity and courtesy at all times.
Personal Safety and Privacy.
Be given information about their treatment and care, and range of facilities.
Participate as fully as they are able in the care programme designed to meet their needs.
Have safeguards for the confidentiality of all records relating to their care and treatment.
Have any complaints they make investigated thoroughly and be informed of the result.
To contact the Registration Authority in the event of unresolved complaints.
Choose whether to participate or not in research trials on an informed basis and be free to withdraw at any time without affecting the standard of care given.
Have access to specialist services appropriate to their needs.
To register with a Medical Practitioner of their choice.
Have the support of a relative or friend/carer/advocate when this is appropriate
