Admission

Service Users interested in coming to Foxhill Manor Nursing Home are encouraged to visit the Home and sample the atmosphere and level of service and facilities provided. A months trial period is always given before taking permanent residency.

The Home is registered to accommodate 29 persons over 65, 4 of whom may have mental frailty falling within the registration category of DE (E) and MD (E).

All referrals for placement will be subject to a preassessment by the Registered Manager. the assessment process will measure physical health and disability, level of dependency, level of sensory/cognitive impairment, challenging behaviours, nursing/management risks and safety, interests/hobbies and any specialist needs. Discussions will be held with Care Managers and relatives and the client before any decision/agreement made for the placement.
